If the unfolding of the universe rests upon a logical trajectory, each person playing their parts like puppets, then what are madmen if not gods? And perhaps even the wildest dreams are the products of underlying rational equations. In fact, if man is ruled by rational equations, it must certainly be so! How then, if both are products of deterministic processes governed by rational equations, is reason to be differentiated from unreason? Are not all things fundamentally true according to their nature? Is not the most psychotic dream precisely what you’d expect from a madman? Ha! To hell then with reason! And to the heights of godhood!
